After I got rid of her friends I would say, "I'm planning to go ( ) on
( ) night and I would like for you to go. Would you be interested?" This gives her some idea what the date is going to be (ie. skating on Friday night). This way if she can't go or doesn't want to then she hasn't turned you down for the rest of your life. She might also be able to say something like, "I don't skate but maybe we could do something else sometime." There's no need to put your feelings out there until you spend some time with her and really know that she is special.

ok good plan, now make sure your face doesn't turn red, and all the embarressing stuff. and think about what if her friends say " no, you can talk to all of us together." then what will you be stuck with'> ?? well you could just say fine i will talk to her alone later. or go ahead and tell her how you feel right then. it is all up to you, personally i think you should wait till you are alone with her, because maybe her friends think you are a stupid jerk or something, never know. and they might pressure her into saying no. so watch for the right time!
good luck and hope my info helps!!
love me.

just work on making the conversation flow and not be awkward, if she feels comfortable she will respond better, maybe just engage in a casual conversation about something, anything it can be about how you both hate breakfast foods who cares, then just slip it in and say, "you know jessica i am crazy about you (or something), see how she responds to that first, if she likes you too she'll say something back, then say you wanna go get some starbucks or something?
good luck bro, I am rooting for ya!!! plz let us know how it comes out!!!

No your going to say "Hey Jessica. Hows it going? (WAIT FOR HER RESPONSE" I just wanted you to know that my feelings for you have reached a new level. And I was wondering if you wanted to be more than friends,"
Then she says, "Are you asking me out,"
And you say, "Sure, I guess."
Then she says, "Sure. Okay"
Then you guys start walking downstairs and you give her a kiss on the cheek. And you live hapily ever after =D

Depending of what type of girl she is. If she likes boys who go straight to the point, go for it. If she doesn't, try to go a little not-so-straight to the point. "Hey, Jessica, i was wandering is we can go out sometime. I would like to know you better...etc etc.."
