If your leotard does not have a bra built in, and you are a B cup or higher, then yes. You should wear a bra of the same color as your leotard

Well I'm a b cup so I rly don't need to wear a bra with mine but if you're like maybe a C and definetly a D. You should wear a bra. And a lot of leotards have built in bras if you can get a way with it :) Hope I could help!

Depends on your breast size and on how much support you need and how much support your leotard provides. Whatever is comfortable is the right thing to do. I know that different people do differently. I wear a bra with my leotard. That's what works for me.

Sometimes just a thin sports bra is okay, but if your breasts are small it may be okay not to wear one...I personally had to tape mine down because of the size, but generally if your the typical dancer profile (thin, smaller breasts nice legs) then no.

Try your leotard on at home, and do a few warmups, see how you feel. Even do it in front of a mirror at home if you have one that is big enough. If you feel they move too much a bra may be required, or atlwast make you feel more comfortable.

For me, I wore really good support bras at rehearsals/practice, but then used tape for recitals. Go with what feels most comfortable for you.

i kno thats totally a good question! there is usually a built in bra inside of the leotard. But if you are heavy chested you should wear one with the leotard. If there no bra in your leotard then wear on if you badly need it.

I agree with those who said you'll want some kind of support when you dance, particularly if you'll be doing any jumps or leaps.

If you want some support, but don't want the lines of a bra, try taking an old pair of tights- cut out the crotch and feet areas, and wear this as a top under your leo. The 'legs' of the tights act as sleeves, and you can cut them to the length you want. The fitted part of the tights will provide you with a bit of support, and won't cause any lines that a bra would.

I don't cause I don't like how it shows from the back cause my leotard goes all the way down showing my whole back. But if you got big boobs then I guess u should . or if u feel uncomfortable then wear the bra.

You will definitely need some support, but I hate it when you can see bra straps with a leotard. They make support bras that are made out of the same material as nude tights. You should try that. Are you "heavy" chested? If so, those might not give you enough support. Some sports bras should work.

Honestly, if you have to ask, you're probably pretty small-chested. (It's a GOOD thing in this case, or at least, easier to deal with.) The thing you need to do is call the dance studio and ask what other girls do. OR, ask the store owner where you bought the leo.

Don't be embarrassed, people ask stuff like this ALL THE TIME! It just helps you know what is expected before you start class. :) Have fun! :)
