On average in each of the last ten years:
60 children have been murdered in England and Wales.
52 of them by their parents or carers.
only 8 by strangers.
Do you still think the death penalty is appropraite?

No we should not have the death penalty, some say eye for an eye I agree but i think that they should be locked up not with TV and free p*rn but they should be locked up for a long as they live made to sit in a room for years and contemplate why they are there no papers no visitors nothing just four walls giving them the death penalty is the easy weak option and simply makes us the same low life scum like them. I hope people like that sh*t on the front of the sun today should suffer for years like the family's they destroyed.

I do believe in the death penalty. I only wish that it was fair. Either kill em all or none. For instance, manslaughter is usually life or close to it. But when the guy killed had a specific job such as police, judge etc it's damned near automatic death penalty. Why are they more important than Joe Schmoe the gas station attendant or just somebodies kid? I say speed up the appeals process and kill em all.

One of the best ways to decrease tremendously the number of abuses and deaths is to effect the death penalty within a week after a person is killed.. Do away with the long drawn out court trial

I agree with the death penalty......the problem i have is that people are always so wrongly accused how many people would we need to execute before we prove justice. People that kill children, rape and sodomised, rape women deserve to be punished, kill them ......yes in many cases they deserve it, keeping them alive in jail costs us tax payers millions per year, but we are not the people who make these decision's and i am glad of that, i would not want to sign a death petition if i was not 100% sure they had done it. And how many cases can 1 person agree totally that they are guilty and agree with the decision that has been passed.

Not just the death penalty, but If children are naughty at school give them the cane, if a lout starts a fight at a football match, don't ban him because he will still get in, let him come the next match take him into the centre and birch him he wont do it again.

no, i think the death sentence is too easy on them, a few minutes of pain and its over. I think we should just put them in a dark cell all alone for the frest of their lives, never allowed to talk to anyone, that would be a much worse fate than death

Yes i do believe in the death penalty....but in the form of stoning...let the murderers and alike feel pain and suffer ... Rapist should have their balls ripped from them and be left to bleed to death.

I'm sort of with you on that one but my solution would be to put them in the stocks in the street and let the public at them it sure would save money!!
