how do u get more points?? seems like my points are goin up and down :(

Mike, every few days, just answer questions. Only ask questions if something is really bothering you and you need help with the problem or if you are really curious about something. When you do answer, try to write as complete answers as possible but at the same time, don't be too wordy. I would not concentrate on just one forum either. I think if I actually took a count of answers where mine was chosen as best, I would not have earned many points in the LGBT forum. If you have a lot of expertise in other areas, go there and answer questions. You'll be surprised at how many points you rack up -- and give the questioners a day or so to rate yours and others answers. Also be polite when answering. A lot of people have good answers but they say something smart to insult the questioner and they lose points that way. Hope this helps.

instead of just answering a heap of questions, try to answer Ithem to the best of your knowledge. This can get you 10 points if it is chosen as the best. Otherwise, just stop asking so many questions, you loose 5 points if you do this! I suggest answering as many questions as you can to the best you can, reference sites etc as well. It all works out in the end!

Don't ask as many questions. Answer more questions and vote for best answers. Be thoughtful & maybe you'll get an occasional "Best Answer". That'll get you an extra 10 points.

Answer more questions. That gives you points. Asking questions takes points away.

you can also in the "discover" and "vote" sections and get points by voting whether you agree with best answer or vote for other answers on those that are yet undecided
