this isn't a question but...?

during the middle ages, probably one of the biggest mistakes was not putting on your armor because you were "just going down to the corner."

Glad we don't live in the middle ages then (esp. since I don't own any armor :)

Actually, the average person did not own armour.
Few peasant people owned anything as they worked on the land where they lived which was owned by a King, Earl, Duke, Lord, Baron etc.

I guess that means you wear armor to every store you go to.
