Just a week ago I flew home for her birthday, she had no idea I was coming and when I pulled up in a rental car she still didnt know who I was,I had her on the cell phone talking to her and as I stepped out of the car she started yelling in the phone, its you its you,I had to literally take the phone out of her hands cause she wouldnt quit talking to me on it when I was right in front of her face, she then just grabbed me and cried in my arms, she turned 77.Sometimes the biggest gift in life is just showing someone you care and love them

Well not to sound corny but my mother really is my best friend. She is literally the only person in this world (maybe besides my boyfriend) who will accept me all the time and support me in whatever I do. I try to always do nice things...just last week I sent her a card in the mail just telling her how much I love her (yes we live apart). It's things like that that matter most.
