They would probably fly around with one wing tied behind their back, just to give the scientists something more to think about. :-)

It's a myth that scientists have said that bees can't fly.

What scientists have said is that a bee can't fly *with a fixed-wing design*, like an airplane.

For a while the aerodynamics of powered flight were not well understood, so it was not known *how* bees flew, only that it had something to do with the powered wings. It was never declared that a bee *can't* fly.

The Creationist bees wouldn't believe a word of any science that didn't fit what they wanted to believe in the first place.

Oh, by the way... that was mathematicians, not so much scientists, and that was shown to be incorrect shortly after it was announced. Basically, with the way they figured it they determined bees can't glide. They did not take into account the effect of a vortex, flexible or moveable wings.

They'd either; A: Go into denial and never trust scientists again

or

B: Believe what they say and then somewhere in their subconcious they "lose" the ability to fly. Or just become so convinced that they can't fly and eventually bees won't fly, ever again.

If bees learn to read, they will still find it difficult to read passages, because of their compound eyes.

interesting question, surely you would need to look further, or deeper, say the ape. We seem to feel they are similar to us but yet they lack our intelligence, if I was that ape i would be majorly pissed off and want to speak to allot of people in charge?>>>>>>
