Okay…. I can count on two hands how many times my whole life I’ve missed a period by more than a couple of days….I had my last period on July 29th…I should have had this period on August 30th as I am a 34 day cycle.. It is now day 41 and nada. . I did notice that around the time I should have ovulated on my last period I spotted, but I took an ovulation kit and it said I wasn’t ovulating. My temperature hadn’t spiked either so I knew I wasn’t ovulating but didn’t understand why the bleeding.. I spotted the next week two days in a row and the week before my period I spotted. I haven’t spotted since. My boobs are sore. Usually it is just the nipples but now it hurts to touch any part of it…I’m having sharp pelvic pain right now.. it feels like I’m being stabbed(it comes and goes)….I have taken two pregnancy tests and they both came up negative. The last one I took 2 days ago and the first one I took the day I would have started my period. I took my temperature a couple days ago in the morning as soon as I woke up and it was 97.8 (the highest it has ever been. Usually I’m around 97.1 or 96.9 .So I guess I’m just asking for advice. Anyone been pregnant after failing a prego test???

yup...i took a pregnancy test the day my period was suppose to start it came out negative. about 2 weeks later (no period had happened) i took another, and it came out positive. so i'm about 6 weeks pregnant (i'll know for sure today at the doctors appt). so ye sit is possible to be pregnant after failing a test.

I would wait a week or two I know it will be hard, but take the test again if it says not pregnant then go to a clinic and get it done for you. When I had the spotting and missed period I did the same and it came up as not pregnant. Then when I went to the clinic it showed I was pregnant. So you may very well be, but wait a little longer and see if your period comes or take another test to see if it says pregnant. Some times it done come up with the at home tests. Or you may not have enough "hormones" for it to come up yet. I am now 20 weeks pregnant with our little boy. So if you want the baby I wish you luck and if not then I wish you luck also. So what ever you want I wish you luck. Congrats if it does come up you are pregnant.

You can get false negatives from these tests. The home tests check for hCG, the pregnancy hormone in your urine. Sometimes the test can be faulty or there is not enough hormone in your urine to register on the test.
The best way to know for sure would be to go and get a blood test from the doctor.
The sore boobs and nipples are a sign of pregnancy, but you shoud have at least an 18 day elevation of your temp to consider pregnancy.

Yes I found out I was pregnant after 3 negative home pregnancy tests and even a blood serum test at the doctor's office......It was so bizarre!!
My husb and I had been trying to almost 2 years and I was soooooo sure that I was pregnant. Took several test and finally allowed myself to understand that I just wasn't preg again. My doc put me on progesterone....took that for 7 days, was told that I should start my period within 10 days after finishing the progesterone and I didn't, so I went to the doctor and WALLAAA I was pregnant.
So turns out I was finally 6 weeks along when I found out I was prego....wait a couple more weeks.

Yes, with my first child I had 3 negative ept's and 1 negative blood test. My daughter finally showed up a few weeks later. After I already was vomiting and everything. With this pregnancy , I took two tests about 3 weeks ago and they said negative. Then about a week ago I took two more tests and they said Positive. I was already having all of the syptoms. And by the way , its pregnant. Not prego.

call your doctor my friend ADA swears with all 6 of her kids she never got + home test she had to do a blood test...that's rare but, I've heard of other women not showing up on a home test a blood test is the very most accurate. I always got a + when i was pregnant on a home test even a dollar test was +. Also heard tubal pregnancy have lower HCG levels some won't show on a home test they can kill u left untreated call your doc either way it could be something that needs looked into.

Sure, that happens all the time when women take the test too soon. It may be too soon to tell, give it another week and it might be more accurate. Sounds like you already know what you are doing any way so theres not m uch anyone else can say. I guess just be patiant. I know that's hard, but there's not really any other choice. Good luck.

The tests are pretty accurate. I have had symptoms like you have described and went to the doctor and I had a cyst on my ovary. The doctor said that it sometimes happens during ovulation. As well as I remember he gave me some medicine and it went away/dissolved/whatever. It is my recommendation that you go to the doctor. With me, the pain got progressively worse for several months until it was quite painful all the time. Hope this helps you.

hi... I Took greater than a number of cases abode being pregnant attempt and 2 have been adverse i took 2 weeks later because of the fact i felt merely the comparable way u do now and now i'm 2 months pregnant so b careful with those attempt they are no longer a hundred% particular

YES I 4 MONTHS PREG BEFORE I FOUND OUT I WAS AND I MISSED MY PERIOD SO I TOOK A PREG TEST AND IT WAS NEG SO I WENT TO THE DR AND THEY GAVE ME A PREG TEST AND THAT CAME BACK NEG SO THE DR TOLD ME TO WAIT TILL FEB BECAUSE IN SOME PEOPLE IT CAN TAKE A WHILE FOR THE PREG HORMONE TO SHOW UP SO I WAS 4 MONTHS BEFORE I FOUND OUT BUT IF YOU ARE NERVOUS AND WANT TO KNOW NOW GO TO THE DR AND THEY CAN DO A BLOOD TEST OR IF YOU WANT TO WAIT TILL THE NEXT MONTH THAN GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE THIS HELPS AND IF YOU ARE PREG CONGRATS
