your RAM is used by software you run and so your CPU. most programms they don't need too much of RAM, maybe if you use graphics related software like photoshop you will want so much RAM. I must say that if you are using 400 MB of your RAM it means you are running a lot of applications anyway. but about the cpu it is different. even a small program may take a lot of CPU. specially if it is malfunctioning, and you could be thinking about this situation maybe this little program has been designed to malfunction! maybe it is supposed to take out your cpu! or maybe it is just a crashed program. so open Task Manager (by pressing ctrl+alt+delete) and go to proccess tab. there is a list of programs you are running, click on the CPU% column so it will sort porgrams by their cpu usage order. find out wich one is the most cpu using software, if you use this software and you know it, so be it. it is what you have wanted. but if it is an unknown program, then it could be a virus or something. right click on it and choose "end proccess tree". search your computer for that program and try to remove it, or use your antivirus. :D

RAM and CPU usage are two separate things. RAM is the amount of high-speed memory being used, CPU usage is the amount of processor capacity. A small program can use very little RAM but require a lot of CPU time. Open Task Manager and sort by CPU usage to see what process is using all that CPU time.

Ouch... a million.3Ghz? regrettably with Minecraft you would be maxing that out particularly. Minecraft is amazingly CPU extensive because of the fact this is a Java utility. basically your computer is working it by a digital device and Java isn't optimized for anybody gadget... it is basically a "happy medium" sort language. i do no longer see any way of averting that undertaking with that CPU. Low RAM utilization is approximately maximum suitable besides... Minecraft isn't graphically extensive or something and this is a small application.

3. Run your anti-virus AFTER completing the above steps.

More than likley you have spyware. These are programs that come from the web when you download certain content and music...Usually from questionable websites such as pornsites, free music downloads and so forth.
