Do you mean "new" or just "new *to you*"? If it's about bands who are "new to you," perhaps you could try some of these acts:

- Judas Priest
- Halford
- Glenn Tipton
- Great White
- Alan Parsons (Project)
- Rush
- Iron Maiden
- Deep Purple
- Rainbow
- Dream Theater
- Iced Earth
- Lacuna Coil
- Nightwish
- Pagan's Mind
- Kansas
- Blue Oyster Cult
- Moody Blues
- Joe Satriani
- Vinnie Moore
- Kenny Wayne Shepherd
- Jonny Lang
- Eric Johnson
- Tony Furtado
- Loreena McKennitt
- Steve Miller Band
- Opeth
- Queensryche
- Red Rider
- Triumph
- Pyramaze
- Spock's Beard

There is Redemption 87, Anti-flag, Mudvayne (if your into really heavy metal), Black Flag, and AFI (Old material at least, you might like that, I don't know what you would think of anything past the album "The Art Of Drowning") and also Avenged Sevenfold. Walls Of Jericho might be worth your time too.

And, if you're a Clash fan, have you checked out Mick Jones' new band Carbon/Silicon? Lots of free mp3s available on their web site: http://www.carbonsiliconinc.com/home/default.aspx
