Turtles make positive pets for toddlers that are to blame sufficient to look after them. The salmonella threat with reptiles is amazingly low. Cats and canines to boot as human beings and different pets could also carry salmonella, yet you do not see warnings about them. I fairly have owned reptiles (collectively with turtles) for decades and characteristic in no way once decreased in length salmonella from them. the baby will be 100x extra in all probability to get salmonella from eating undercooked meats and nutrition than from a puppy turtle. although, i do no longer advise that you get any puppy for a 2-365 days-previous. Few 2-365 days-olds have the adulthood to comprehend that pets are literally not toys and they are commonly very frustrating with animals. also, because the baby isn't yours, i don't think of it is your position to purchase a puppy for the family individuals as finally, the mum and father will be to blame for the puppy. they ought to elect the puppy that's properly for them. perchance a present certificate to petsmart will be maximum acceptable in an attempt to elect their own puppy in the adventure that they want. Even fish require daily care and plans will want to be made if the family individuals is ever out of city.

I would highly recommend it, especially if your child is prone to temper tantrums, indiscriminate violent behavior, spontaneously urinating on objects, and burning things.
