Technically you could! vut should you? NO and no they dont need to cut and no they dont need to get in your uterus. All the Dr will do is tug at the strings! But you should go to the Dr and have them do it as they would be able to know if maybe its embeded or what not

I just had mine put in and the midwife advised me not even to tug on the strings if I thought the IUD was out of place. Removing the IUD can do some serious, and possibly permanent, damage. I would suggest scheduling an appointment. IUD removals aren't very time-consuming.

Simple answer. It's in your uterus. He can't possibly get behind your cervix unless he is your gynaeocolist. Removing it is complicated and needs a professional. Don't hurt yourself and your future family by assuming that he can. Consult a professional. Spoken as a woman who got an infection from an IUD. Be careful.
