I asked a question about something a stripper said and was suprised at all the hatred. Of course they are not the highest members of our great culture but I don't comprehend the hate.

I feel bad people are always hating people, a stripper might not be the most respectable job, but no one needs to hate.

I don't hate strippers but I also don't really like them unless I am hanging out with them outside of work. When in the club they are the predators and you are the prey. When I am having an overpriced drink with a buddy at the bar and not ogling the strippers, they still walk up to me an ask forcefully for a tip. The whole strip club experience makes me feel like dirt. Not for moral reasons but because I am constantly being objectified. I am not a walking wallet and do not like being treated like one. Plus there are some really lame guys who have gotten totally f*cked by strippers but not in the fun way. A few black sheep take these losers for everything they own. I guess it is good in a Darwinian kind of way.

People who want to feel self-righteous about something always pick easy targets like strippers, most of whom are just working girls who are paying their bills and not behaving any more badly than they are. Do strippers have a higher rate of theft, murder, treason, car accidents, child abandonment or even divorce than other occupations? Nope! Yet some bimbo who hates her husband and only stays with him for the house and money, and is therefore nothing more than a prostitute with a ring, will feel free to heap all kinds of abuse on the stripper.
Phooey on 'em all, I've known strippers and they're good people.

Im sorry but women who are strippers are just too lazy to go get a well paying job so they lower themselves to be objects! Respect is earnt!

I think that women who engage in that activity do not consider what repercussions it brings by seducing men and taking their money. It destroys lives, families...because men have a weakness and get caught up in it....if women would not behave in ways which insult our intelligence...men perhaps might be stronger individuals...and have better respect for women....
