i saw a picture of both of them,and i think they look alike. Sad that Steve has passed.I still grieve..... I read that the late John Denver was a wife-beater,so i don't mourn his passing,but still... add round glasses to Steve,when he was alive,and he could pass for John Denver.....Maybe it's just me, but I kinda thought they looked alike. They both had daredevil lifestyles,as John liked to race experimental planes,and we all know what Steve Irwin loved to do...! anyway,that is just my thoughts...

There's a little bit of a resemblance between them I guess. Yes, I see what you mean. Both had a wholesome, goody-good public persona and they both died accidently at sea too.

Now that you mention it, I could see Steve Irwin looking a lot like John Denver,just add the glasses and I think it would be a very strong resemblance. And yes,Mr.Irwin will be missed,he was very much a free spirit and I will miss hearing him say "Crikers!"

It's very eerie though - similar looking creatures... both famous... both going out in a blaze of media frenzy.
One actually kind of... did go out in a blaze, followed by lots of steam.
