Were the native americans immigrants?

Thats not the point! The question is when is enough people enough? I was never an immigrant, I was born here, so were my parents, and theirs, and so on. We have enough people in this country now, I dont want to become Japan, or China, and have too many people to take care of. More immigration will only cost this country more, shut down southern border now, this seems to be the only side where we have a problem. All of our ancestors were immigrants, (Except the Native American Tribes', of course, being the first humans to dwell here), but that doesn't make US immigrants. Still, you'd think we wouldn't hate on immigrants as much because of our heritage, right?

Later Me: I'm all that stuff you say you are at the end, too, but I don't hate on immigrants just because it's impossible for most of them to enter legally!

Amilucky: It was almost impossible to be an illegal immigrant for most of our country's history. There weren't as many immigration laws!
We used to keep terrorists out with a few laws.
Now we have a tangled web of laws with loopholes that are big enough to pass an Afghan on dialysis through...
Most people who would like to come here face the dilemma of obeying the laws of the U.S. while staying outside of the U.S. (why obey the laws if you can't even GO there?), OR break one law by entering the U.S.
It's very hard to obey the law AND enter the U.S., and more often than not, impossible unless you're relatively rich.

Lets take it one step further. We are all immigrants on the planet Earth too.

But what I want to see, is for Human Beings to drop Social, Ethnic and all the other things that hold us back and realize that no matter our age, skin color, religion or whatever, that we are all part of the same species and we need to work together to make the world a better place.

I want to be alive when that happens, to see humans coming together as one and doing good for the good of the species, rather than for themselves, their city, their state, their country or their religion. I just hope that we aren't forced to do it through some tragic event that gives us the option of either succeeding as a species, or dying. Because with the way things are now.... we would probably die.

Ohh, and on a personal note. This little answer pushed me to Level 3. Now I can answer more questions with my amazing alien intellect.

Actually, most of us aren't immigrants, we just descend from immigrants. I'm not completely sure what you're defending, but I personally have no problem with immigrants....as long as they're legal. If I have to pay an arm and a leg in taxes, then so should anyone else who wants to live here. That's all I'm sayin'.

Actually the villages were eradicated by the white tide.

If your point is unity of purpose, I agree. If your point is powerful invasive government, i disagree. The general "It takes a village" mindset comes from a Hillary Clinton book in which she relates the government being more qualified to set the standards for rearing children than the parents of those children.

"It takes a village" has come to mean that Mommy and Daddy should get outvoted by the neighbors down the street on how to raise their own kids. It goes farther to say that the government should choose for us based on our aptitude, and ultimately that is communism.

My ancestors had to go through a lot of crap to get over here in the first place. And once they were here, they weren't treated very well even though they were legal. Why should present-day illegal immigrants be given special consideration that no other ethnicity in the history of our country has been given?

Yes White people must wake up and fight back. We must cleanse our nations. The immigration statement is not relevant and only works on the stupid masses that love to parrot mindless slogans. Remember the "We all bleed red" one that implied we are all the same since we bleed red? Well what about dogs, rats and cats - they bleed red? lol idiots!

How many stories are you willing to build to populate this villiage?

That probably sounds real cynical, but the fact is, in real life - those extra stories eventually have to either be built or there's no room to put the new people. Unless they're just "existential people" who exist without any needs, or taking up any space.
