Verbal and mental abuse because my grandparents abused me mentally and verbally when I was growing up
I don't ever want my child to be deprived of child support. My father never paid, and it's been 17 years. I know if I ever have a baby, and the father leaves me, I will demand that he'd support his child, so my child can have the most opportunity in life.
Depression...I've had it for four years and I don't want my child to have it and be so unhappy.
Identity Theft...I saved my mom from it but I don't want my child, if I become a parent, to be a victim and me not being there to stop it.
I don't want my child to lose friends in a car accident because I had to go through that last year and it was really hard
I don't want my child to ever think that he/she isn't going to college because I can't afford it. My mom can't afford it. I don't want my child to find out what it's like to know that your work and talents mean nothing, that your life is over. I already know what that feels like.

I'm still a parent! I wouldn't want my daughter to experience an alcoholic parent.

Drug addiction. It was a very very difficult time in my life. I don't regret anything that I have done, because it was all a learning experience. I definitely would want to help anyone not have to go through what I went through, when they really don't have to.
