Most big time West End and Broadway shows. But, one doesn't have to attend a professional performance to see that combination on any given day....just watch future actors, musicians and dancers; i.e. students from fine arts schools display their skills in cross/discipline performances. Promote the arts in education!!!! And the funding!!!!

The Musical - Chicago.
And in any milongas, when you see masters of Argentine Tango perform..., that is a mix of music, dance, and drama. The Argentine Tango is a dance with improvisations, and all depends on the mood of the music. The leaders and followers express their interpretations of the music with their dance skills and personal emotions. The drama is created once everything comes together. Good tango dancers made their dance look like a dramatic performance, but they will tell you: "that's just how (real) Tango is".

I would actually have to go with Stomp. Strangely enough, I was quite impressed when I saw the show many years ago, mostly becasue it not only held your attention for 2 hours with a mainly percussive sound, but becasue it did so without any singing, speaking or even traditional musical instrument.
The sound was created through dance, and the dance actually told a story - each individual number usually had a plot.
In that regard, I thought it was quite brilliant.

I would say the my favorate in that catagory would be the lion king. I brought my daughter to see it and it was amazing. The dancing was beautiful especially when mixed with the live song music and the story line was very creative. An all around A+!!!!

The film made by Carlos Saura of the Antonio Gades choreographed "BLOOD WEDDING" is the finest example of music, dancing and drama coming together in one art form that I have ever seen.
It is a Spanish film, surely on video or DVD, circa app. 1980 (?)

Gustav Holst: Invocation For Cello and Orchestra. it is on the Naxos CD label. also, Holst's song Of The nighttime, on the Wandering pupil CD, Chandos files. both are literally not nicely established, and are quite transferring yet no longer fairly scary. yet another piece is The Swan by technique of Camille Saint Saens. it truly is a transferring gentle peace, and in no way scary. attempt also The Dove, by technique of Ottorino Respighi, from The Birds (Gli Uccelli). attempt also the numerous music by technique of Turlough O'Carolan, as he composed some unhappy products.
