I was wondering if my 11 month old daughter can eat fish. If so are there any types that are off limits?

I started to give my daughter fish about that age. I stuck with the light white fishes like haddock and cod. Nothing "too fishy"What ever you give her just make sure that it is cooked. Also only give her a little to start with. See how she does with it then give her more. If there are fish allergies in your family like shell fish or something then stay clear of those fish for a little while longer.

My 8 month old eats tuna all the time i just put it in a bowl and she loves it :)
I wouldn't be too sure about giving her fresh fish as i'd be scared of bones lol

I think a baby that age can eat anything... but one really must look into how much methyl mercury is reported to be in whatever type of fish you feed them. Definitely stay away from albacore tuna.

Yes, fish is good. Watch out for bones though. No shell fish.

I'd say no check with Dr. first.
Stay away from shell fish for sure.

the breaded type will be fine. no bone fish. have plenty of catsup.mrs pauls are finger food for young children and they dont have bones.

I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure fishsticks would be fine but if you're talking about a plate of cod or salmon I think it would be best to wait awhile.

I would talk to a docter because i don't think its safe at that age but the docter would know.
