The U. S. government demands every passangers' 34 personal data from air companies in the name of the war on terror. A few months ago, however, the EU court judged this unconstitutional (not the U. S. policy, of course), so air companies are not allowed to give away these personal data. The European Parliament opposes it too.

Will be there a compromise or someone gives up?

There will be a compromise of some sort but I expect it to be in the direction of more information rather than less. The days of giving your name, age and country of origin are gone.

All countries have a right to know who is entering their country, and what their business is. I would not wait for a compromise on this issue, this is the age of the Patriot Act. The answer will be if people or governments are unwilling to provide this information then they will be henceforth considered undesirable aliens. US policy for what occurs inside it's borders are not open to interpretation by foreign courts. Consequently, the inverse is true. If Brittan or any other country were to choose to require the same information the US courts would not have any jurisdiction to deny it.

Of course not. The U.S. does entirely too much business with the nations that comprise the E.U. However, since the foiled terrorist plot in Britain, air travelers everywhere will have to put up with increased security measures.
