Visual Basic is a programming language. Visual Studio is a development environment (including source code editor, compiler, debugger, etc.) that allows you to develop in Visual Basic and several other languages. Visual Studio is extensible; it is possible to get a plug-in that will allow you to develop in languages that Visual studio originally was not designed for.
The difference between Visual Studio and Visual Studio .Net is that the latter allows you to draw on a set of libraries called .Net Framework developed by Microsoft.

Visual Basic.Net is the language
The year version is essentially the revision level of the language.
Visual Studio is the integrated development environment that helps you edit and develop. Loaded with tools like intellisense, object browser and so forth.
VB 2005 is the current latest and is intended for use with .Net Framework 2.0.
VB.Net 2003 is for .Net Framework 1.1
VB.Net and VB.Net 2002 are for .Net Framework 1.0
You can program in any of the languages without Visual Studio. It is just a nice environment loaded with tools to speed up the development.

I do believe that Visual Studio includes Basic, C#, J# and Visual C++ as one package. As for the .NET version, I'm not sure, but I'd guess it has the advantage of downloadable updates for a period of time, rather than having to go out and buy the new version each year, as well as access online to .DLL's and increased functionality with mobile devices.

Visual Basic is just Basic.
Visual Studio will come with several other tools and/or languages.
The .NET versions are new and have more features that take advantage of the .NET framework in a Windows machine.
