It's not a terribly difficult question to answer, but perhaps first you'd like to define your terms. What is a "bad President" anyway? To answer this, here's what I'd like to know: What is the government's purpose? Once we have the answer to *that,* we can ask whether this administrations policies have helped or hurt that purpose. My gut instict is that the characteristics you mentioned, combined with a near-criminal lack of interest in any plan or opinion other than his own, will leave a legacy judged as one of the worst in US history. But I'd like to hear what other people think.

cocaine abuse? Bush admitted doing it not having a habit. Nepotism? He is not the first son of a US president. What about Adams? International naivety? I would argue that is just a low blow because your a bush basher. He is just as informed on the world as any other president. War mongering? There is no such thing as a popular war. Open your eyes and get off the bush bashing bandwagon.

In an attempt to defend as little as possible, you can't name one single US president who didn't have a laundry list of personal and professional problems. Perhaps when we become less consumed with our Presidents errors and learn to fix our own lives he won't have to work as hard.

Why are you people so vociferous in your prosecution of the Clintonian politics of personal destruction?

Is policy debate beyond your reasoning capacities?

Snippy name-calling is a pathetic form of 'political' debate.

Only the last. Everything else is either common political practice, or happened so long ago that it's not a factor now.
