Welcome to peri-menopause... the phase in your life when nothing is predictable, on schedule and more than likely uncomfortable...

Im 34 and yes they have gotten worse the older I get. It all started when I turned about 27 my menstrual symptoms started to change. It's as if my body is going through some kind of change. When I was younger I didn't have a clue as to when my period was going to come. Now it's a whole different story. I get symptoms from headaches to food cravings before my period comes.

I am 35, and they have gotten worse over the last few years. A few months ago I felt like I was having back labor. It was terrible. I had to lay down, and it lasted for about 10 minutes. I hate getting older.

Well, I'm only 18, but I've had my period for four years... I don't have a clue what childbirth feels like thankfully, but I can tell you my period pains have gotten worse. I used to not have them but now they hurt so much I can hardly walk and they even hurt my back... I doubt that holds a candle to childbirth, but ... the answer is yes they've gotten worse as I've gotten older... but that's probably not the answer you're really looking for... maybe menopause??

I wouldn't know about that I know that I had those when I was in my early 20's. I now don't have to worry about cramps anymore I have already hit early menopause and I'm only 32.

I'm 25, but I noticed that my cramps (and other symptoms of my period) changed dramatically after each of my two children. So it's certainly not a static thing.
