Oh my God...I have insulted Jeanne (?) with my answer to her question regarding internet harrassment! She had a pic that made her appear to be trying to pick up the next victim and I simply pointed that out, I may have called her an idiot, I don't know. But now the poor little thing has felt insulted and changed her pic back to a simple avatar. She must be very sensative.

Should I feel bad for hurting her little feelings or just ignore it because she was not bright enough to figure out suggestive picture=internet harrassement, etc?

So glad to see there are others out there that feel as I do regarding Q&A---how can anyone take this to heart, what do people expect.
If you really need advice for a serious matter this really isn't the place for it.

people take this forum way too seriously. ignore her, she's insignificant to your existence. unless she will give you lots of money, then by all means, give her some importance.

She asked and you answered. Perhaps your answer was correct to a point, but you may not have been very diplomatic. It's never the best policy to offend anyone, unless the question itself is offensive. I haven't read your answer, so I can't say for sure.

Keep in mind, however, that an avitar is just a picture and means about as much as a password or a user name. It is not a true indicator of a person's character, regardless of how funny, suggestive or horrific it may appear. Just because she has a sexy avitar, does not mean she deserves to be harrassed.

Okay, so both of you have made amends -- she changed the avitar, and you are feeling just a wee bit guilty for having hurt her feelings -- otherwise you wouldn't be asking if you should feel bad. So I guess that makes you even. The moral of this story is: Never judge a person by his or her avitar!

"Her little fealings". You seem kind of heartless or just very opinionated. I don't know which one, but it is always good to not be so rude when giving your opinion. Nevermind. By posting this question, I know you don't feal bad because you wouldn't ask it but think about it yourself. You would have come on here with an apology instead of an inquiry. You may have called her an idiot, but it seems your'e a b*tch. Should I feal bad for calling you that? Should I feal bad if I hurt your fealings? And people wonder why some men treat women like b*tches. Well hey, if the shoe fits.....

Who cares? If it hurt her feelings, oh well, what is she like 5. Dont let other peoples problems bother you. You have the right to say whatever you like, and from the sound of it, you were not in any way cruel.

Feel bad for hurting someone's feelings on the internet? That does not compute.
