what is the difference in endometris and a cyst?

I seem to have more symptoms of endometris than a cyst, from the things I'v read.What kind of test can tell you?

you need to see a doctor,the difference is that endometriosis forms in the [obviously] endometrium wich is where all the stuff that comes out of you in your period,a cyst can form outside the uterus.i hope my information it's helpful,but please go to a doctor.
