Hoping Katherine Harris of Floridfa will run on the republican ticket. She is all for stopping illegal immigration and for sealing the borders.;

Oh, wow, good question. Definitely going to be a free-for-all since both parties will be choosing a candidate from scratch, and neither party has an incumbent to lean on.
For Republicans, I agree with the guy who named Bill Frist. He'll definitely be trying. Lamar Alexander might give it another go. Maybe even Libby Dole if the Republicans feel like she has a chance. I don't think Condi Rice will be up for it this time, I think she's too busy to campaign. If they try with Condi, then it will be in four years or something.
But I don't think Hillary's a shoe-in for Democratic candidate, either.
I'd really like to see a strong independent candidate, myself!

It's very difficult to actually determine because many people will run for their political party, and they will be voted on in primaries.
I do think, however, that many people are going to vote Democrat in the upcoming election regardless of who is running. Really, I can't say this is wrong, but I do think we should take long hard looks at whomever becomes the candidate.

Your statement proves that the people in this country are not intelligent enough to vote.
What does a woman, man, white, black, green or orange have to do with the training, background and beliefs that are needed to be president?
Lord save us from ourselves.

Hllary will be running for the Democrats, which is why the democrats are already campaigning instead of doing their jobs.
The Republicans haven't started on deciding that yet, they are too busy actually doing their jobs and running the country.
