Turn off your computer
Unplug all the connections you have
Replug them
Let it sit for 5 minutes
Turn the computer back on
Go to Start > All Programs > Accesories > System Tools > System Restore
Try to set back to a later date.

If it still doesnt work, I would recommend reinstalling your system (back to the factory settings)
How you do this:
Save all your files to disks if you want to save them > insert a recovery disk or windows disk that came with the computer when you bought it > it will take 30-45 minutes to reinstall and you will lose everything > you will have a brand new computer after you run it.

Hope this helped!
