the Playoffs too yet?

2006-09-07 08:40:00 · 13 answers · asked by Anonymous in Sports Baseball

dont compare this Tiger Team to the Whitesox, this tiger team does not hit ANYWHERE near as much as the whitesox did or do. And the Whitesox had better pitching, MORE pitching than the Tigers. But i do buy the Tigers are just slumping thing, hope they come out of it before they find themselves in trouble

I think they are just slumping - every team goes through it. I think they will fare off well in the Playoffs but be eliminated by the Yankees. The Yankees are the real deal.

The Tigers are just in a slump and btw, the Tigers have better pitching than the White Sox.

They are slumping for sure. But they've had the best record in baseball all year and were due for a slump. The 4 game series starting tonight against the Twins will tell us a lot about the Tigers. I think the Tigers can split the series and survive the year as division winners.

Hey Georgie Porgie, why do you place spaces in between your lines, it looks like a poem. No offense (like the Tigers, Hehehe) but I was just wondering why you do it.
But yeah, the Tigers are facing the Twins for a 4 game series which they will lose and possibly get swept in. They cant contend against the Sox, and they have a chance of not even making the playoffs. Also, Id like to bring to everyones attention that the White Sox have 2 players with 40 and 39 HR and 2 players with 30 and 29 HR. Just incase anybody didnt know that the White Sox were the best team in baseball, I was just reminding.

No.

I am not worried.

Either way (division or wild card) they make the playoffs.

Every team goes through a slump.

The Tigers are getting thier slump out of the way before the playoffs start.

That way, once the playoffs start, they can get back to thier winning ways.

The White Sox are the real deal. Minnesota is going to whoop the Tigers this series. The Tigers are going down! They were a fluke and they won't even make the wild card!

remember that the white sox slumped and cleveland almost caught them at the end of the 2005 regular season, and they still won the world series.
