As soon as you put your fingers on it it went down in value. Most coins of high value are uncirculated mint ones. Something you got in your change and has been banging around in your pocket isn't a winner.

It depends on the year, mint mark, and condition. Probably not a lot though. Go to http://www.pcgs.com/prices/ for a price guide.
