We always make "eyeball" cookies which are really just any flat round cookie spread with a white icing and then a red dot in the middle - some even get blood shot marks!

We also make "finger" sandwiches. Make any kind of sandwich you like on regular square bread. Cut the bread into 3 long "fingers". Use a knife to round the ends to make them more finger like. Lastly, add a half of an almond on the end to make a finger nail.

These things are good food but the kids (and adults) find the presentation creepy, but adorable.

BTW, we also usually have a pumpking carving contest.

Good Luck!

every year my aunt and uncle have a HUGE costume party. Everyone divides into teams and we do a scavenger hunt around town. It's sooooo much fun. We have a designated driver per team so we can drink and stuff. It's super fun. Or try some traditional party games. Bobbing for apples is always fun and its a good fall game. If you live in the country try setting up a hayride or a bonfire. Have fun!

One year we had a murder mystery party, it was a combination of Clue, Murder She Wrote, and CSI. We had a blast. Someone was the moderator, we worked in teams, and had different prizes for the steps in solving the crime. It was a smaller, group of close friends. I don't know how you would do this with a large group, but it's a lot of fun for small groups.
As for costumes, one of my friends found something really imaginative that hit home with all of us. She dressed like one of those orange and white barrells that you see on the streets or hwys. where road work is being done, she had a little light on her head and her boyfriend went dressed as a construction worker. They were Hwy. 55 North(which has literally been under construction for 15+ years). It was a big joke to all of us.

You should have prizes for sexiest, weirdest, etc male and female costumes. If you are 21 or older, play drinking games, cards, pong etc. It is fun to do a themed costume with some friends, but don't be something that everyone always is, mix it up. Halloween parties are usually awesome, have fun!

interior the commencing up of October this is almost impossible to bypass someplace and not discover Halloween celebration techniques in distinctive magazines. As for costumes, how approximately: - a clown - Bart Simpson - a witch - a zombie princess - a unicorn (you would be wanting 2 human beings) - a cannibal

Halloween Barmbrack.

At Halloween we had Barmbrack,
The memory, it takes me back,
To happy days of innocence,
When a bag of sweets cost just two pence.

The dressing up, from door to door,
‘Apples or nuts’ the children implore,
With faces black from cold burnt ash,
Still there next day, after a wash.

The Barmbrack was a special treat,
It looked too good to dare to eat,
The prizes cooked deep within,
The thought it made my young head spin.

A small brass ring that shone like gold,
The secret that its finding told,
That you would be the first to wed,
If you clung to it all night in bed.

A matchstick meant you would see the light,
That you would know wrong from right,
But best was last, a thruppenny bit,
That you’d be rich, if you found it.

Such silly things, to a small boy,
Used to bring unending joy,
Now all that’s left is the memory,
Of the beautiful times that used to be.

put notes inside of a bunch of balloons and make everyone in the party take turns popping the balloon when they pop it they must read what the note says and do it.

example: i pop the balloon and it says to stand on 1 foot and sing to a backstreet boys

or play spin the bottle
