its because they are different ....slipknot rule ...wait and bleed and all the other crazy s**T ....... ppl dont like bands that are different ... they want comercial pop that they can listen to on the radio ....ya never hear of any hard rock metal trash radio stations on comercial radio ...only on the net ....we need more slipknot, slayer, metallica( the old stuff) megadeth , morbid angel.massacre, deicide ,cradle of filth,,,,,,,,,, long live metal bang the head that doesn't bang ...and long may your blood run black

Me, personally I only like a few songs, but I'm not going to talk about them just because I'm not the biggest fan. Does a band's religous views really matter? Not, unless they are singing about it. I get sick of people doing that too.

Each to their own I say. Not really my cup of tea but I wouldn't bad mouth them. I must say some of their lyrics kick as and I appreciate that they are talented though. I'm glad not everything likes the same stuff it gives us something to talk about :)

Hey don't worry about people slagging off slipknot i saw them live and they had the crowd going mental like plus i love "before i forget" i think it's quite different for them and am quite impressed by it but metallica will always rock harder.

i personally do not like the band b/c I am not into that kind of music. But... everyone has the right to listen to whatever kind of music that want. People should not judge anyone for what they listen to.

i've heard two of their songs...they're not bad!everyone has their own choice in music but it's also true that everyone can have their opinion!
keep listening to what you like and dont pay attention to what others say!

What ever floats your boat....don't worry about who thinks what of who. You like them right??? Then continue to like them. U can't make others like what they don't like, everyone has their own tastes. And ur not the only fan out there, there are others......if they didn't have any fans they wouldn't exist.

I dont really like Slipknots songs. i think their lyrics are explicit, they talk about suicide!, and their fans are teens aswell so by them singing about stuff like that could encourage teens to copy and start self- harming... which does happen!
