We have recently moved house and want to know if anyone knows how to remove the old sealant around bath, shower or sink.
Is there anyway you can do it quicker than scraping it out with a knife?

I used one from ScrewFix Direct - works well, although you still need to scrape a bit, but it makes the job much quicker & easier & it does remove sealants completely, whereas with scraping you never get all the old stuff off - link below & only £2.39 per 100ml container. I rate it as good stuff.

There isn't anything that I have found which will get it off easily, just scraping it.

I find a razor blade (one of the old style ones which can be bought in a chemist or hardware store) does the job the best.

Generally if you carefully cut / score along one edge of the sealant then it should pull out most of the way along if done carefully (this is really satisfying when it works)

Other than that you can remove the tiles, and the sealant comes off with it (or just put new sealant over the top if the tiles are to stay).

Good luck

I used a wallpaper scraper, but I wonder if a steam stripper would loosen it - probably worth a try.
