I like it but I think she can make it more exciting. Do something that will make younger people want to watch it.
I like Katie being an Anchor. It shows that men and Women can have the same jobs. She replaced 3 men. She is a very powerful woman.

I only seen parts of her first newscast, I think she done great, becoming the first woman to anchor a newscast by herself, that's different from Barbara Walters (with the late Harry Reasoner), Connie Chung with Dan Rather, and Elizabeth Vargas (with Bob Woodruff for a while before she resigned and turned over to Charles Gibson) which the three co-anchored with men. Eventhough, I seen newscasts from NBC, CBS, and ABC before. I recently watched Brian Williams on NBC.

She is very good at her job, but it doesn't matter to me who is anchoring CBS or NBC news, because I watch ABC news. Always have and always will. Since the 60's. Can't even make myself watch any other network news, I have tried several times. Sounds weird, I know, but it's what I watch. That goes for my local news also. Channel 7 which is abc news out of Chicago.

I was neither a fan or a critic of Katie, but I have to admit, I really like her on the broadcast. The entire show has a different, fresher feel. Hope she does well. Nothing against Bob Schieffer, but I find her to be a breath of fresh air.

I wouldn't say I was a fan but a supporter of her's. Now we don't have to hear her say "and now back to Matt w/..." I have watched the 2 episodes thats she's done so far, and I think she's bringing a lot of her own ideas to the show. How 'bout the new segment "freeSpeech"? I think that's a great idea.
