We were kept waiting forever, finally had to remind the staff that that was our food sitting there which was now freezing cold. Part of the reason it took them so long to get around to finish serving us was the manager had to make a run to the liquor store to buy liquor for some of the underage staff who were all standing around talking about a party they were going to later. Needless to say when the food finally arrived cold we just stood up and walked out , they just said "see ya".

One night, my ex and I went out to chinese food. The place we chose, I was told later was just a cover for an oriental massage. Anyhow, the food was served just fine, with the exception of the meats. the "chicken wings" had longer bones than they should, The "beef" had a different texture than it should. The "pork" had a flavor that I had never tasted. My Ex and I looked at eachother at the same time, and we were enlightened to exactly how "authentic" this chinese food was. I don't know if we ate dog, cat , or both, but we quietly left the money and flew out of there holding our stomachs. That was my single worst dining experience. I swear on my grave this is a true story.

I walked in and was met with the sign "booths for three or more people only." So I sat on an uncomfortable chair with a tiny table at the front door. The waitress reluctantly left the men she was flirting with at the counter, and took my order, then went back to the loud flirting. She never brought my soup, which was to be part of the meal. She did finally slam my plate down, and continued her flirting. During all this time, nobody was sitting in any of the three booths. This is the only time I have ever stiffed a waitress. I would never have gone back, but a month later, the cafe was shut down.

Well, I have been lucky, and have had few poor experiences...But I recently went to a Bahama Breeze for some reason and received the slowest service I've ever seen. I am in the Biz myself, so I know perfectly well what the staff was going through. Still, it was ridiculous, and we even complained but no one cared. It was so bad we even called their complaint hotline.
Other than that I've been pretty lucky.
