And no the violations were not removed. Actually more were added that are very controversial. Go figure....

6 months ago,, and their are sections that violate the constitution that were not removed,,, I don't think Congress will uphold the Patriot Act without removing them,,, remember Paul O'Neill,,, we would have to go back 150 years,,, to be the kind of United States that George W. envisions........

When the libs voted FOR it, after bloviating about how they had killed it. They wanted this and that, but they caved because they knew to vote against it was political suicide. And remember, all that matters to a Dem is political power. National security is a distant second or third to them, behind getting illegal Mexicans and felons the vote.
