I had trouble getting pregnant with my first son (it took 4 months, but my doctor helped with medication). I had trouble getting pregnant the second time (it took 12 months). The third time, I read "Take Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler, and got pregnant in 2 months. You have to read it! You'll learn lots about how your body and fertility work, and it really helps you to know when you're ovulating and everything.

Well if the obvious isn't working their may be a problem. Both halves of the couple need to see a doctor and figure it out.

FYI: It usually takes a few tries. If it hasn't been at least 6 months, keep trying and stop worrying about it. The extra stress will work against you.

You can get kits at the drug store that help you track your cycle and you will know when you are the most fertile. That increases your odds a lot.

This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! My husband and I tried for a year and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Figure out when you are ovulating, either by charting your basal temperature every morning or by taking home ovulation tests. Have sex at least every other night after your period. You should get pregnant. If you have sex every day and don't get pregnant you might be doing it too often and causing his sperm count to go down.

After 6 months of trying on your own with no results, consult a doctor.

Sexual intercourse is usually a pretty accurate way to get pregnant, I mean its worked for millions of years. But besides that having the woman on top helps, because she is control and more likely to orgasm. Orgasming causes the females vaginal tubes to spasm which helps the sperm reach the egg.

Have unprotected sex in the days leading up to and including ovulation.

Read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler to determine when those fertile days are.

Have unprotected sex. (and it doesn't have to be on your ovulation day) Pregnancy doesn't usually occur the same day as sex. It can take up to 3 days before the egg is fertilized.

If you're asking people on Yahoo Answers, you're probably to immature to have kids anyway.

Wait a few years, you'll figure it out ;)
