I don't think you can make a living doing it. Most of us take our own photos as well as virtual tours. 10 years ago you could have done it but not now.

Well, you're thinking of things. I don't think you can make much money taking pictures for Realtors. But, you could definitely make money finding abandoned, run down, foreclosed properties (and perhaps taking pictures of them). Then present these properties to investors and request a "bird dog" fee. This you can probably make a living at provided you find properties that investors will buy and pay you the fee for. They wont pay the fee unless they can buy the property.

Most real-estate agents take their own pictures.
