How many of you have read the Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind, and what do you think of the series if you have? I am seeking honest opinions of the story and philosophy, not publication information. Thanks!

BTW...10 years ago the 3rd book was released. Today the 10th one just came out...just want to make sure it's the same series :)

I read this series about 10 years ago. The story is quite addictive, and while at the time I didn't think think it was that good, 10 years later I still remember it now and then.

I'd definitely recommend reading it if you like that sort of thing.

- Wow - 10 books now! I only read the first three. Sorry. The first three where good though. However, obviously not good enough for me to notice any new ones coming out. ;)

I read the first two books and to be honest, I had no desire to read the third. This was the series that really began to get me not as interested in fantasy. What was it that people kept calling the main character -Richard, right?- that he was rare or unusual... Something about that just bothered me. The problem was Richard was just a stereotypical questing hero.
