No - All large accounting firms and most companies will perform background checks, so be upfront, but in most states a DUI (at least your first) is a misdemeanor which will not keep you from your license.

First you have a drinking problem needs to be addressed. Get sober, do your programs go to AA and clean up your driving record. Thank the good lord you didn't hurt anyone. Look honey, I have a son who was told by consulars 18 years ago that it was OK to have a sociable drink and he is still a drunk. So, stay out of the barber shop unless you want a haircut.

It depends on the State you wish to practice in. I am really not certain about it. Check with that state you wish to practice in.
