This question was posed this morning by Rose:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhIZUftjHkO8mEkP1lQhQULsy6IX?qid=20060907092935AABQ8Kg

in which she claims that:

"people are saying that, to date, it is the most accruate depiction of the years and days leading up to 9/11 that exists."

when this article from CNN says otherwise:

http://edition.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/09/07/911.film.clinton.offic.ap/index.html

Now there several major question raised by making this movie. 1) Why is it going to be aired without ads, who is paying for this movie then? 2) Why would they make a admitted fiction account which purposely distorts history against all public documents, do they believe they can fool some people? This mini-series raises some serious questions.

That's what I think the intentions are as well. If the Democrats let this happen without some libel lawsuits, they the Republicans are right, they are a bunch of pussy and don't deserve to win. We will have to see how the people involve take care of this.

First consider that "The Path to 9-11" is a Disney production.
Disney blocked the distribution of Michael Moore's "Farenheit 911".
A Disney executive said the company did not want to be connected to that film becuase it could be politically divisive. Michael Moore believed the Walt Disney Co. was worried his documentary would endanger tax breaks the company received.

A group called "Think Progress" has a website to send E-Mails to ABC asking them to tell the truth about the film, which they say is written by an avowed conservative.
Think progress is fighting against, corrupt establishment, incompetentent establishment, braindead media and the radical right wing agenda.

I suppose the miniseries will benefit conservatives and will be paid for by tax breaks to the Disney Company.

The film isn't a documentary -- it's just an exaggeration of events leading to 911.

Everyone has freedom of expression --Including the government and even the person(s) who made the film --they have every right to put it on air.

It's not even the right time to play the blame game. Whether Clinton or Bush are to Blame. It doesn't make any difference.

We can't change 911-- but we can certainly prevent it from happening again.

1) the Republicans
2) They are hoping to fool people. There will probably be some fine print at the end that says it is fictional. People will ignore that or not see it, and then get the wrong idea.

People will watch it, and they will believe it. After a few months, say around election time, this will be the version of events they remember. That is worth paying for the full cost of airing it, if you're a republican.

people will watch it.

Even if they tell you IT IS ALL IMAGINARY what they see will remained with them and in their mind those images will shape any information they get.

Who is paying for it? clearly somebody that wants to clear up the current mess by blaming it on the predecessor.

I for one have banned ABC entirely at home until after the elections, however I realize that unlike me the majority of people will flock to watch this, if nothing else because of the controversy they've created by simply doing it.

They have to say that it is fictional knowing the people seeing it believes that it is true. But they can't get sued.
These people say, "I never said that." "It didn't happen that way"
Clinton used diplomacy to keep us out of a war.
When Bush took office he antagonized them and caused them to want to hate and kill us. Why do they go back to Micheal Moore?
This isn't about him. This is about distorting the truth.
We have lost our freedoms.

Boycott this piece of trash. It is obviously another attempt to bring fear and division to front and center once again.
