Defense makes you more tired. You have to read and react to the Offensive player, and exert more energy to keep in front of them.

How worn out you get, depends on how good of shape your in. After I started running cross county in the fall, and kept playing basketball in the winters. I never got tired playing basketball after that.

Injuries are random to me, I've seen them happen in almost every setting. The only basketball injuries I had were on Offense, mostly from landing on someone else's foot and twisting my ankle.

Good Solid Defense is the one that's going to make you more fatigue or tired..

In offense you control the game, If you have the ball.

In defense you have to defend the player that's in offense. You will try to not make him score.

Offense is one of the play that's prone to injury.. Because you will try your best to score against the defender.

You will attack the basket to get a point, it doesn't matter if there is a defender down there..

Its hard!! But you can train your stamina.. So you will not get tired fast.

GOOD DEFENSE brings GOOD OFFENSE!!

GOOD DEFENSE wins basketball games!!

well i've been playing basketball since i was 5 and i'm 28 now so i'm going to say offense wears you down because you have to beat the defensive guy off the dribble and run fast breaks run plays with speed and flawlessnes...i've been injured on both sides of the ball 3 years ago i was playing in a church league basketball game and i was driving to the basket and hit knee to knee with another guy and i was out for the rest of the season i've had spained ankles from playing defense stepping or landing on feet that can accumilate on offense and defense...you have an equal chance of getting hurt on both sides

It takes commitment to play defense. You could play good defense for 3 quarters and no one will care if your man doesn't score. On the other hand if your man scores 30 points you WILL hear about it.

Offense is different, if you score 20 points you are a freakin' hero. You also become the center of attention and it becomes easier, the more you score.

Both major basketball injuries (knee operations) I sustained while playing offense.

Of course defense makes u more tired becasue your working your but off to get the ball or either block it. And your more likely to be injured on offense because the opponet is trying to get the ball.

Defense, cause I'm a sniper, and just shoot 3's on offense.
you're constantly chasing some one on D, fighting through picks, you're more on edge on D cause you're reacting, you don't know what their going to do, so you got to be more alert. But with all that being said, I for some reason get more satisfaction shutting down someone when playing D than scoring a bunch. I tweaked my knees (which is why I'm just a sniper now) in other sports. But I've seen more injuries occur on offense

Well I really think it depends. If you play man defense then it should definitely get you more tired than the offense because you have to follow your man everywhere. Also if the guy you are guarding is better on offense than you are on defense then it also weres you out mentally. You ask yourself "man can I guard this guy."

But if you play a zone deffense then then it is easier because you only have to guard only part of the court but in man you have to go where your guy goes.So in this case offense might be harder.

well offence can get you injured depening on how good the defence is.

depending on how good you play offence could make u tired, everyone is different

playing defence-you will get really tired but if i play alot more offence like rey allen, you will get more tired from offence

defence is easy to get injured on, running up and down blocking shots trying to stop the other team

offence is also really easy to get injured on-wen trying to penatrate the defence you can get injured easily

best way not to get injured--wear high top Light sneakers, work on foot techniques so ur feet can move more easily while playing defence offence-pass to other open players if u think too many ppl are in the key--best ways not to get injured

Offense is more tiring and can make a player more prone to injuries. Defence can be tiring also if you are assigned to guard the best scorer of your opposing team.
