Its a trim package, but it doesn't really mean crap. GM has so many option packages on their vehicles that its nearly impossible to tell what it came with by the trim level. It's not like Honda where all EXs or LXs have essentially the same options with minor changes.

LS trim package. The next more expensive trim package is the LT and LTZ
