That is a hard question to answer!! With the mother being the one carrying and the father in waiting, who knows how either of them will feel when the time comes to be a parent. If the father decides after the up all nights and feedings after 2 weeks, then you have a child in limbo. I think that when a woman gets pregnant that both the mother and father should attend some kind of counseling so that they can come to an agreement and decide not only what is best for the child but what is best for them. Parenting is a full-time job!! You can't call in sick, you can't stay out all night and get up the next morning, and your sure can't quit!!

I agree that the father should have a say. I`m just sad to say that it hardley ever works out that way. Their is a lot more guys if given that choice to raise a child on their own or have an abortion would choose to raise the child alone. I believe if you are adult enough to make a baby then you are adult enough to raise one. or better learn quick!

Ideally, the father should have a say but at the end of the day, it's the woman's body and it's the woman's choice.

well it depends i guess. i think the mother has the final desision its her body but if its a couple bf/gf husband wife i would hope they would discuss it with eachother.but either way the last say is the womans she should never be *forced* to have it and she should never be *forced* to terminate.

Depends, which of them is God. Neither obviously. This question sickens me. There are numerous families out there that can't have children (me included) and then you hear about these people and teenagers that get pregnant at the drop of a dang hat and then debate about what to do with it. I think both have equal say in the matter, it took 2 to make it.

It is the women's right to choose. AND ONLY THE WOMEN'S.
Look at it this way:
If the man said I want to make a baby/have sex and the women said no, does he have the right to make the baby/have sex using her body against her will? NO. So growing the baby using her body without her consent is also not allowed. Right?

Well not that I whole-heartedly agree with this.. but I would assume she has the last word.. it is her body that is needed to carry the baby, so I don't think anyone can force her into that.

only god has the right, if the mother dont want it, carry it and give it away to the father when it is born, or give it up for adoption, there is people out there who cant have kids, that want them good luck,
