i was on espn and it has a voting thing and it says witch player would have most helped team usa and it has a. ray allen b. chauncey billups c.kobe .d k.g. and f. shaq i voted shaq and my vote was 21% and kobe had 43% how do they think kobe would of helped team usa!! he is a total ball hog i mean just look at last years playoff clips thats all he did was shoot i know this is a dumb question butt im serius i hate that guy and i think he sucks

they needed better defense and shooting. kobe would have helped both. ray allen would have been also helped out. ray allen is a better shooter than kobe, but kobe's defense is a lot better.

shaq is only good around the basket and is horrible on pick and roll defense. he would not have helped against greece.

i think your hatred for kobe blinds you from the truth.

Kobe Bryant is a great help for TEAM USA!!

They need his Veteran vision of the game, leadership, Perimeter clutch shooting, Killer defense, etc..

The person who ask this question has a personal hatred to the player..

You cannot judge them by that.. You can judge them by the way they play..

You call Kobe Bryant a ball hog.. His team mates were just in a slump and not making their shots. But well his shots were droping and they win ball games.

So it doesn't matter what you call it. They went to the playoffs last season because of his scoring ability and leadership.

While Shaq needed some more pieces added to the HEAT to win the finals.. He also needed D-Wade..

Try adding Shaq to the Knicks and see if he's goin to win a championship. or even make to the playoffs.

I don't think any one player could have helped the team. I can't even watch the NBA anymore. At least in college, they still play as a team. NBA has just turned into a personal highlight reel for most players. The Heat's whole game plan was getting the ball to Dwayne Wade, that was it! I miss the old teams fielded by the Lakers, Pistons and the Bulls, where teamwork still won championships. Duke would have probably faired better against the international teams since they at least have played together before. Sorry, yes, I'm bitter.

they was right Kobe would have been a better help to the team not shaq he is slow and getting old now his game is not the same Kobe would have been a score not shaq.you just need to get over your personal feeling for kobe and see that he is a better player and Will last much longer in the NBA than shaq.i like shaq also.but then to the usa team is just a bunch of over rated rich kids who don't really care about the game it's all about them now.they don't play as a team it really suck

why do you say that he is a ballhog. have you even seen him play. you only call him a ball hog because you heard other people call him that. every time he gets the ball he either gets fouled or makes the shot. what else to you want. while kobe is making 81 points, shaq is at home trying to make a freethrow. without kobe, shaq sucks ***. team usa is just not a team without kobe.

kobe wouldve definelty helped more than shaq but Amare Staudimire wouldve helped more than them both. Amare is faster and more Athletic than Shaq and elton brand was hardly an inside prescence
