I did approx 1 year ago, and it hurt only on the right nipple. I asked the person who did the piercing why this is. He said, your not ready for it when they do the first nipple, by the time they get to the second, you are ready for the pain. The after care was a major pain, After a year of cleaning, and taking care of them they just wouldn't heal all the way. It totally depends on the size of the nipple because my husband healed right up and he has pretty small nipples. Anyhow, I hope this helps you in your decision. :)

It does hurt, badly. If you are thinking about getting it done make sure you are a meat eater. Most people bleed quite a lot during this, and you may become anemic from it. My friend even blacked out and could only get one done. The nipples on women are much different than those of men, we have more nerves and more blood vessels. This is due to the whole breast feeding thing, we have to feel it when the baby is sucking so that we can lactate properly. So yes, it does hurt more on a woman than it does on a man, or at least genetically it should.

It doesn't really hurt. I haven't had a piercing or tattoo that hurt very badly at all- I have 5 tats and have had a total of 10 piercings, including nipples. No longer have the nipples done, and I breastfed both of my kids, I'm currently breastfeeding actually, very successfully!

I have no clue, but I will add this- How could anyone possibly know if a females nipples hurt more when their pierced, than a male's? Unless of course someone was half male, and half female, with one breast and one pec... Either way, I say go for it. every girl I've met with nipple piercings loves them, most say it didn't really hurt.

Yes I have my ears, nose, tongue, nipples, clit, belly button pierced. It is painful and if you get it done I suggest you either buy some of the bras that women who breast feed buy with the nipple area cut out or cut the nipple area out of your sports bras. Or just dont wear a bra. It takes a while to heal all the way. Some women loose feeling in their nipples after getting it done but not all do.

my mrs has her nipple pierced. she says it stings rather than hurts. during the piercing its more like a tugging feeling, but does cause some bleeding that can last a day or two. hers healed in 2 weeks, during which it can become very sensitive if your out in the cold! but go and get it done cos it looks and feels sexy!

The person who pierced mine said the same thing about it but the guys I know who have gotten it have said it doesn't hurt at all. When I got mine the actual piercing doesn't hurt, it's the healing process. It's just really sore but it's bearable. I say get them ;D

I thought it was almost as worse of a pain as breaking my ribs. It hurt worse than both my tattoos, and took a long time to heal. Good conversation piece but thats about it.

That's impossible to answer...no one would know whether the other sex's experience is worse. I will say that most tattoo artists and piercers say that women handle the pain better than men, but it could very well be the same...

watch out women's nipple peircings will grow out.
generally due to the function of the female breast the nipple is more functional and there's more weight on the nipple also of course.
