I am 6 weeks pregnant and am having terrible gas pains in my lower abdomen. Is this normal?

Yes it is normal it happened with all of my other pregnancies and i am in the same boat with you at the moment. I even wake up with my belly really bloated and can't even move because there is so much gas. I know it sounds kinda gross but we got a lot more to go. I am also 5-6 weeks pregnant. Yes, I am suffering with lots of gas pain. Very normal. I am almost 12 weeks.

Yeah I think that gas is normal in pregnancy. A great book that has really helped me during my pregnancies is "What to expect when you are expecting" They also have a website www.whattoexpect.com. Check that out they have a great question section. Good luck to you and congrats on your pregnancy!

Yes it is normal I am 20 weeks and had it also. If I were you I would get used to them because you will have them a lot.

yes, yes it is. and it sucks. grt on your hands and knees and stretch like a cat does, that will let the gas out and it will be a relief. do that everytime you get the gas. but, there is no way you can stop the funk!

Just about any uncomfortable feeling is possible when you're pregnant. Just wait till you pee your pants everytime you sneeze.

i been pregnant 2x and i dont remember any GAS pains ..........might wanna get that checked out ....
