No, it isn't supporting the troops, it is supporting a failed policy that was implemented to make the corporations richer (not a damn thing to do with keeping us safer, if anything it's endangered us more). Supporting the troops is voting to get representatives in office who can plan a safe return for them without turning the middle east into a total hornet's nest of terrorism (which Bush policies have promoted).

The troops are instruments of policy, they do not make the policy. Whether you agree with the war of not it is not the fault of the men and women stationed in Iraq. I always love the Vietnam comparisons when talking about the troops. Apparently too many have forgotten just how disgracefully the so called compassionate set treated the troops returning from that war. Or perhaps they are just to young to remember the chants of baby killers, and spitting on our fine young fighting men.

Whether or not it is a failed strategy in Iraq is a matter of interpretation. We will leave Iraq, and when we do they will have a government and military capable of standing on their own. What happens after that is up to them. Again, no matter whether you agree with the war or not, abandoning the country at this point would be the wrong decision. However, I also know that many antiwar types would love that, because when the country really did degenerate in civil war they would have more fodder for their favorite past time. Bush Bashing!

Too many people are simply incapable of thinking logically, and making distinctions between the individual troops, and the orders their receive.

You notice how any other strategy, or any other plan besides "stay the course" is automatically dismissed as "cut and run". People are incapable of thinking rationally. It's all or nothing. No middle ground. No options. It's sheer stupidity. But it's also the majority.

Where do you get "failed strategy"

Look at all the MONEY that has been made. My Olin stocks were down so low I was ready to sell. But Thank Bodsh I'm getting dividend checks again. And look at Aro Jet the rocket fuel company business is booming.

And you rather fight and have our troops die... for nothing!? I wonder what you would have said to the Vietnam war? Get out of Iraq, we've done what we came there to do, let them fix it or die themselves.
