The first question I would ask you is: What changed (and then when did this change occur)? What happened to cause the change? Obviously something changed in your life that caused you to go downhill (more stress??). Perhaps it was a new boyfriend, breaking up with a boyfriend, a long lost relative came back in your life, some work associate or "friend" is covertly giving you a hard time (while appearing to be your best friend - stress????), etc.. Forget pyschs because they won't help you solve the problem, just cover it up. You've recognized something is wrong (good first step) and now you get to find out what it is to change it back. Can't help you much more than this in "Yahoo! Answers", which is just unfortunate. But sounds like you got the determination to fix the problem (good second step). check out the key words "cause of suppression" and you can check out the website listed: www.counselingthatworks.com/Debbie's Website/stress.htm. I have no idea who this is, but I think she can help.

You are getting older. Stuff that used to interest you is no longer fun (been there, done that, sort of a feeling). Also, as you get older (you don't have to be OLD), your metabolism just goes down naturally. Some people exercise to keep it up. Everyone goes through these ups & downs in life.

MAYBE YOU ARE DEPRESSED AND MEDICATING YOURSLEF WITH FOOD. WHAT HAPPENED? WERE YOU REJECTED BY SOMEONE WHOM YOU REALLY WANTED TO LIKE YOU? DID YOU TRY AND FAIL AT SOMETHING? ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH ACCEPTANCE THAT LIFE IS NOT FAIR? DID YOU LOSE SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU? ARE YOU NOT WHERE YOU WANT TO BE IN LIFE? DO YOU HOLD OTHER PEOPLE RESPNSIBLE FOR YOUR FEELINGS OR YOUR SELF IMAGE? HAVE YOU HIT 25 YEARS OF AGE (WHEN YOUR METABOLISM CHANGES) YET? WHY DO YOU THINK YOU CAN'T WORK OUT? WHAT IF YOU CHANGED "I CAN'T" TO "I AM NOT WILLING TO"? WHAT IF YOU KNEW YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE? WHAT IF YOU KNEW THAT IT IS YOUR JOB TO DECIDE AND CHOOSE HOW YOU FEEL? WHAT IF......
