i saw a sign for it at the doctors office... i'll so some research myself later.. but anyone have any knowledge on it?

It is a vaccine against HPV- Human Papilloma Virus. The virus has been known to cause cervical cancer in some women. HPV is a virus that also causes genital warts. If it is detected on a pap smear your dr will most likely check your pap again in 4 months and then X3 until unchanged for one year. Sometimes HPV can clear up on its own. Also I recently found out that even if you have already been diagnosed with HPV the vaccine might still benefit you.

Cervical cancer is caused by a virus. Now the vaccine for this virus is just approved by the FDA.
