yes, its your responsibility to keep criminals off the street as well. what if he shoots on your street and the stray bullet hits and kills your child?

I've been in the same situation and I didn't. He was stupid enough to get himself caught. But it all really depends on the seriousness of the crime.

It depends on how bad what he did was. If he hurt a kid I'd drive him to the jail myself.
