For sure...the country! I like the space for gardening, the quiet mornings on the front porch, the relaxing evenings in the backyard grilling. I like the privacy of being able to do anything in my own yard without peeping eyes. I can always drive to the city for some "excitement" but there's nothin like the peace in the country.

I'd live in a city that is less than a half-hour away from the country. That way I can have the best of both worlds.

City, City, City.
I was born and raised in northwest Washington, on an island called Anacortes. (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&formtype=address&popflag=0&latitude=&longitude=&name=&phone=&level=&cat=&address=&city=anacortes&state=wa&zipcode=98221)
I moved to Los Angeles because I wanted to be in a place where everything was happening. Beautiful quiet places are nice, but I NEED mass populus and stimuli flying around me at all times. I'm a busy body, I need to know that I can descend upon a city and find anything I might want from entertainment to a huge CD store. I will likely grow old, and return to where I'm from to enjoy the finer things in life, but until then, I'll only be happy running around in a metropolitan area.

I'd rather sleep in the country and work in the city. why you think a lot of people who live in the city want to live in the suburbs? I do.

In the country but close enough to a city that I could go there if I feel like it.

Definitely live in the country where I can listen to the birds and watch wildlife. You can always take a trip to the city to shop or do whatever you need to do.

ive lived in the country for a little while now, and i dont like it, i though i would like the peace the fresh air etc...
but you have to drive to your local shop and pay expensive prices, its tooooo quiet, you have to put petrol in your car soon as it hits the red cos if you left it til the next day you would fear you wont make it to the local garage before running out, you can go for a stroll in the countryside but you dont get anywhere, you just end up back on your own doorstep. and its very isolating.......(biggest problem, feel as though your stuck in the middle of nowhere!)
i'ld choose city life over country life anyday....
